My name is Jason Rowlett and I live with with ADHD. I lived with it unwittingly until I was 31 years old. Now at age 36 I feel that I have a better grasp on why my brain works the way it does. I created this blog to share what I've learned about ADHD to teach, inspire and encourage others who have the condition.

I know what it's like to be misunderstood, to have your best intentions quashed by people who don't understand. I know what it's like to struggle with what can be perceived as laziness, apathy, self-discipline, attentiveness to others, etc.

My blog is not meant to offer "tips" on how to manage your ADHD. Rather, I want to teach you what I've learned over the decades about why your brain does what it does. Only then can you figure out what systems and resources work best for your individual type of ADHD.

As for me personally, I am an entrepreneur, web developers, writer and podcaster. Yes, that is very typically ADHD! I live in Austin, Texas, with my cat, Raleigh. I am a rower
